This Cookie Policy explains how the PocketSales website (pocketsales.app) and web dashboard (my.pocketsales.app) use cookies and similar browser storage. The mobile app does not use cookies.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They help websites remember information (e.g. that you are signed in) so they work properly.

2. Cookies we use

• Authentication cookies — when you sign into the web dashboard, we set a session token so you stay logged in. Required for the service to function. Cleared when you log out.
• Preference storage — small bits of local storage to remember UI preferences such as which sidebar items you have expanded. Stays in your browser; never sent to us.

3. What we do NOT use

• We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking.
• We do not run third-party advertising networks.
• We do not currently use analytics cookies. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy first and let you opt out.

4. Managing cookies

You can clear cookies any time from your browser settings. If you clear authentication cookies you will be logged out and need to sign in again.
