Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PocketSales SaaS platform, our website pocketsales.app, our web dashboard at my.pocketsales.app and our mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). By signing up or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

PocketSales provides a multi-tenant field sales and order management platform. Functionality includes order capture, customer management, GST tax invoicing, geofenced attendance, leave and payroll tracking, and subscription billing.

2. Accounts

• You must be 18 years or older to create a PocketSales account.
• One account is one business (tenant). The first user becomes the owner and may invite team members in admin, accounts, sales or employee roles.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions by users you invite.
• You must keep your contact information accurate so we can reach you about billing and security matters.

3. Subscriptions and trial

• New accounts get a 40-day free trial of the full feature set. No credit card is required to start the trial.
• After the trial, you choose a plan (Starter / Growth / Enterprise) and a billing cycle (monthly or annual). Annual billing is priced at 10× monthly (two months free).
• Add-ons (extra shops, extra users) are billed at the published per-unit rate.
• Plans may be upgraded any time (immediate, prorated). Downgrades take effect at the next billing period.

4. Payment, taxes and invoices

• Pricing on the website is in INR and excludes GST. We issue a proper GST tax invoice for every payment containing your GSTIN where provided.
• Accepted methods: UPI, bank transfer, card. Payments processed through Razorpay or an equivalent gateway when enabled.
• If a payment is not received by the end of your billing period you enter a 7-day grace period during which the platform stays in read-only mode. After grace, the account is locked until payment.

5. Refunds

Your first paid month carries a 7-day money-back guarantee. After that period, no refunds are issued. You may cancel any time; service continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

6. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to store or send unlawful content.
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service, other tenants' data, or our infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense the Service to third parties without our written permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.

7. Your data

You own the data you put into PocketSales. We hold it only to operate the Service for you. You can export your data any time (CSV) and request deletion. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced where possible.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages.

10. Termination

You may cancel any time from the Billing page. We may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or activity that places the platform or other tenants at risk.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [CITY], India. (Founder + lawyer to fix the venue before publication.)

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; if we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date and notify active customers by email.
