Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your PocketSales account and all associated data, what gets removed, and the limited records we are legally required to keep. It applies to both the PocketSales mobile app and the web dashboard at my.pocketsales.app.

1. Delete from inside the app (fastest)

The account owner / admin can permanently delete the entire business workspace directly in the app:

• Open the PocketSales app and sign in.
• Go to the More tab.
• Tap Delete Account.
• Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete Account.

This immediately and permanently deletes your account and all of its data. It cannot be undone.

2. Delete by email

If you cannot access the app, email pocketsales72@gmail.com from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my account". We verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days, and email you to confirm when it is done.

3. What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes all of your business data, permanently, including:

• Orders, clients, products, and price lists
• Payments, outstanding balances, and collection records
• Attendance, leave, beat plans, visit logs, and visit photos
• Staff / team member profiles under your account
• Your login credentials and profile information

4. What we are required to retain

A small set of records is kept only where the law requires it, is not used for any other purpose, and is purged when the retention period ends:

• Subscription billing records (invoices, payment proofs) — retained for 8 years as required by Indian tax law.
• Audit log entries — retained up to 2 years on a rolling basis, then deleted.
• Crash / diagnostic logs — auto-purged within 90 days.
